Noble Group - $10,000 Unrealized Profits

My student is in an unrealized profits of $10,000 now. Noble is currently in the Top Volume no 1 with price gaping up. The $10,000 was made in 3 Contra days. I am so happy for him that after the Jan course, he was able to spot the bottom for Noble himself without my help. This is a testament of the skill you are going to acquire if you signed up for my course. My course is currently so hot that my April is almost fill up soon. Next course maybe in June. Thanks all.

SMRT - Good News Into Charts

Over the weekend, the edge magazine had a feature on SMRT. After reading it, it made logic and sense. On the surface, the company looks like they made some improvements with more transparency with concerted effort to improve it's image with a blog and an advertising campaign. This is what it portrays in the media and news but in fact, this piece of good news had already been factored into the SMRT stock price as shown in the chart above circled at the gap down point. SMRT as of now looks bullish. The buyers were flocking in and there were limited sellers. In the near term, I would look into a good timing for a bullish trade. For those who shorted, be alert of your positions if any. The chart is telling us that the Big Boys had covered their shorts. :)

My Investment Portfolio (January 2016)

STI ended the month at around 2629 points, continuing its downward movement from last month. Again, fears of China's economy hard landing and low oil prices were the major concerns. Investors sold down stocks across the board, making stock picking a difficult task in this market.

For this month, I have attended the following AGMs/EGMs/briefings - Transcorp, Frasers Commercial Trust, Frasers Centrepoint Trust, Envictus, Noble and F&N.

For my top 30 holdings, Jardine C&C moved back to the top of the list after it outperformed this month. A-REIT is another major mover upwards after I subscribed to its preferential offer. Koyo International dropped out of the list after I sold down the stock.

I have bought the following companies from the market this month - Advanced Holdings, Bonvests, CapitaLand, Chuan Hup, GK Goh, GL, Global Testing, Hong Fok, Hong Kong Land, Jardine Matheson, Jardine Strategic, Kencana, Keppel Corp, Khong Guan, Lantrovision, New Toyo, PM Data, SembCorp Industries, S'pore Shipping, Sunningdale, UIC, UOL, Wing Tai and YHI. I have also reduced my stake in Koyo International and closed my positions in OKH Global and Oriental Group.

I have subscribed to the following preferential offer - A-REIT. I have also participated in the following scrip dividend schemes - Boustead and UOB.

I have also accepted the following voluntary delisting/cash offer this month - Li Heng.

Next month will be a busy reporting season as most companies with financial year ending December 2015 will be reporting their full year results. I will (as usual) go through most of these results. With the market appearing oversold, I will continue to buy good quality stocks at a reasonable price. I might also switch out of lower quality stocks to finance some of these purchases.

Global Logistics - Lock Out The Shortitst

As predicted in my previous post on Wednesday that GLP's operator will be doing a major flush before conducting a rally, indeed, that happened yesterday and the stock sprung up and closed almost near the day high. Read the below post for my analysis and see how I predicted it!

http://stockmarketmindgames.blogspot.sg/2016/01/global-logistics-wavering-through-big.html

Actually, it's not difficult to do forward prediction as I had been doing so for many years. Most of the days I got it right but very seldom I got it wrong. The only thing that I don't do it price because I watch time. Time carries more precedent and weight than price and hence I focused heavily on it. When a stock run, it's about the right timing and any price you grab, it would also run. The most important knowledge in my forward prediction skill is that one is able to predict what will happen first and then followed by what's going to happen next, his/her action is then to get it at the right time. It's as simple as that. Will share more on next Tues. See you guys there!

Secura - Sold Down with Big Sellers

In the end, as predicted Secura had a number of huge sellers selling down the stock as posted 12.14pm in the noon. from morning 0.24 to closing 0.22, the sellers were punishing the buyers and asking them not to buy now because the timing is not right.

http://stockmarketmindgames.blogspot.sg/2016/01/secura-consistently-sellers.html

On another note, STI was overtly bullish today, closing a day high of 66 points with many underlying stocks running. It's getting exciting now to watch out for some good blue chips.
